Freshwater 2 Knock Down Rebuild Project

GMC Constructions was thrilled to be engaged to create a coastal, Hamptons-inspired home that was a joy to live in for this Freshwater family.

On site, we were met with an asbestos-riddled, decaying home that had seen its day. We used a specialist team to safely demolish the house and outbuildings, leaving a fresh canvas for us to create a stunning new home.

We worked with an architect and landscape architect to finalise plans that would thrill the client and meet their needs.

Features include:

  • The soaring, double-storey void or atrium
  • High, raked ceilings make the rooms feel palatial
  • Several blissful bathrooms, including one with on-trend Zellige tiles in a neutral tone.
  • A bespoke timber vanity and oversized basin
  • The modern, white kitchen in a flat profile with finger pulls on all the cabinetry
  • Gorgeous open-tread stairs with glass balustrade
  • One of our signature window seats to take in the outdoors
  • The intricate, Hamptons-inspired pavilion alongside the pool has a classic pattern repeated under the home’s balcony
